At one time, Pilates was a specialized form of exercise limited to a handful of professional practitioners. In recent times, Pilates has become one of the biggest exercise trends in Australia. Practitioners of Pilates can experience countless benefits including improved posture, flexibility, and balance. This presents a remarkable opportunity to do exercises that are both safe and effective.

According to HealthTalk Australia, the stretching and strengthening of core muscles through the practice of Pilates or Yoga are effective strategies for combating the effects of ageing.  So our resident “Piloga” Instructor has put together this introduction to Pilates.

This one-hour session is yours to keep, refer back to and build confidence always and at no ongoing or additional cost.  Depending on your level of fitness you can complete it over a week or all in one sitting.  Plus there are a few extra challenges for you to build up to over time.
